Trenton Ave Gets Electric!

Hello all! If you're a restaurant or artist who has vended at Trenton Ave before, you know that we can't provide electricity to you, since we're outside and all...but somehow, we run those stages! Instruments don't just amplify themselves!

This year, we are lucky to have the support of Electrical Wizardry, Inc! These guys volunteered their services and equipment to funnel electricity to our main stage and nearest food vendors who may need some extra power. Thank you, Electrical Wizards! The neighbors of East Kensington really appreciate your help!

Voltwiz John and his crew are based out of Mt. Airy and are huge supporters and patrons of our event and of the community-at-large! John is one of the co-founders of the Philadelphia Ride of Silence, an annual bicycle ride to commemorate those who have been killed by motorists while riding their bicycle.

Look for them at the festival this year, perhaps riding along with the derby parade on their recumbent bicycles! Or maybe just tinkering behind the scenes near the main stage near Dreer Street!
