Taking 50% of the vote, Betty Iron Thumbs will be performing in the people's choice slot at the Arts Fest. From their bio:
Betty Iron Thumbs is a twangy indie rock band from Philadelphia, PA. Mike (guitar, vocals) and Katie (guitar, vocals, viola) have been workin' on Betty for awhile, and were just recently joined by Jaison Smulski (bass) and Ryan Stump (drums.) Betty's current influences range from Rilo Kiley, to Ida Maria, to the Black Keys, to Johnny Cash, to CCR. Betty's inspiration comes from beer and heartache.
