Artists that begin with the Letters "E" & "F"

Didn't manage to get this one out yesterday; there was a fancy-to-do reception at Moore, so I was running around like a busy-bee all day and night. I may be a day behind from now on, I don't expect to have the extra time to post twice. Oh well!

Eleanor Jane and Joanna Nealy are teaming up to split a space and show off their finely craft metalsmith skills. I'm totally jealous.


Elizabeth Fiedorek is a traditional artist with non-traditional messages. Her work is kinda snarky, from what I can tell, but very human! She'll have drawings, paintings, and books among other things. Check out her website, as it has some great drawings!

Emerald St Urban Farm Project is located right here in East Kensington! Started by two neighbors in a house next to a huge vacant plot of land, they transformed the space into a growing farm! Visit them at the festival for a fresh supply of the farm's produce, and find out more about their project and how you can participate.


Eric Toscano is a painter using alternative materials ; crafting them into small and large scale textural color fields. Check em out at www.erictoscano.com

Eris Temple Artspace will host a menagerie of creative folks. Enjoy palm readings, funky art and more. Crafters LoungeLizzardDesigns and Art by Reggie among others will be representing Eris Temple, which is also an artists/musicians' house in West Philly. Ask them what's happening at their space when you see them!

FeatherGunLab....well, I don't have any information about this woman's craft, so you'll just have to find her to find out what she is up to.

John of Fisticuffs Leather has been selling his recycled leather wrist cuffs at the festival for several years now! He travels from the Baltimore area, so be sure to check him out and support his efforts!


Flat Iron Wildcats is a local volunteer group of neighbors who are working VERY hard to help reduce the feral cat population of our neighborhood. They exclusively use the TNR method, for Trap, Nueter, Release, so alley cats can continue their exciting lives, but not contribute to the overpopulation. Plus, there are always plenty of super-friendly kittys that can go to happy homes instead of back to the streets. They'll be teamed up with Pop's Playground, another local grass-roots endeavor that has brought an old neglected playground back to life. They now boast a skate park! Awesome!

Freckled Sage is a local business that sells bags and other accessories made of oilcloth. Bright colors, bold patterns, and waterproof! What more could a bike-riding hipster like me ask for?! Messengar bags, totes, aprons, doggie raincoats, tablecloths, lots of great things need to be waterproof!
