Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia is the region’s largest high-volume, open-admission animal shelter. Contracted by the City of Philadelphia to provide animal control services, ACCT Philly receives more than 30,000 animals annually, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife.
In
addition to an intake and adoption center, ACCT Philly also supports a
foster and rescue program, field services and code enforcement by Animal
Control Officers, a food pantry for low-income pet owners, and a
vibrant volunteer program!
