Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is on a mission to transform lives and our City by building quality, affordable homes in partnership with families in need.
In addition to building and improving homes, Habitat is opening a ReStore – a thrift store open to the public. Our ReStore accepts donations of home improvement goods like furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances and resells them to the general public at a fraction of the retail price. Every penny that the ReStore earns goes right back into Habitat’s fund to build more houses.
The ReStore is opening a retail warehouse in Kensington in Summer 2011. We are looking forward to meeting our neighbors on Trenton Ave!
