Rock to the Future

This year, TAAF is proud to welcome Rock to the Future to the fest.

Aside from their amazing name, they are an amazing group. Here's a little info about their program -

RTTF is a free afterschool music education and youth development program, open to Philadelphia School District students this fall.

The program focuses on the incorporation of music education with academics to create success in school and in life by improving cognitive thinking, learning capacity, socialization skills, self-esteem, and creative thinking.

Students will learn an instrument – their choice of guitar, bass guitar, drums, vocals, or keyboards – and will also receive homework help. The students work together to write new, original music and attend free educational and musical seminars and workshops. Students will attend the free program every day after school.
