- Saturday, May 16th, 2009. 12pm-5pm. (This is a sprinkle or shine event, severe weather date is planned for Sunday, May 17th, 12pm-5pm.)
- This event is being held on Trenton Avenue (between Norris and Frankford), Philadelphia, PA, 19125. This is the East Kensington/Fishtown neighborhood.
- The registration fee for this event is $35 per 10' x 10' space. All checks make payable to: East Kensington Neighbors Association. Contact us for other payment methods.
- Early registration ends Wednesday, April 1st. After this date, registration fees are $40 per space.
- Table rentals will be an additional $15 per table. Tables are limited; register early to be assured you get one!
- Once payment is received you will be assigned a location number and a suggested arrival time. The arrival time will be between 9am and 11am. If you are unsure of where your location is please visit the EKNA table the day of, there will be volunteers to assist you.
- Please drop off your things at your space and then park your car to avoid and traffic problems. There is plenty of street parking available. All vehicles must be off of Trenton Avenue before 11:30am. We can also direct you to parking areas for vendors.
- Please be courteous of our neighbors and deposit trash and recyclables in the receptacles provided.
- If renting a table, when you leave please return it to the check-in area. You are responsible for your table, and damaged or missing tables will be billed to the renter.
- Please be aware that Trenton Ave is a Belgian Block street so it may not be completely level.
- Trenton Avenue is very sunny; and sometimes windy! Canopies and popup tents are allowed. Bring adequate materials to secure your tent, such as stakes to go in between the blocks, or bricks or sand to hold it down.
- There is no power available; charge your laptops and phones beforehand!
- EKNA is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Please keep an eye on your property and money.

I didn't bring my lap top last year. I was wondering if anyone was picking up wireless. I ask because I'd like to be able to do Credit Card transactions.

I will take my laptop out and check for signal sometime soon, and post another comment. Wouldn't that be nice if wireless could be used to take paypal!
ReplyDeleteI used to use the free Philadelphia wireless there. There's a transmitter right on the telephone pole at the corner of Suquehanna and Trenton. I haven't tried to use it in a while, but it used to work . . . .
